Born in Cần Thơ, the largest city in the Mekong Delta, Juliane ThuSuong embarked on an extraordinary journey at just eight years old. As one of the courageous boat people, she and her family - sher parents and siblings - left their homeland behind, seeking refuge in the United States in pursuit of a brighter future. Their new beginning in America was filled with challenges, but through resilience and hard work, they built a thriving life in the Bay Area, establishing businesses in landscaping and nail salons. Determined to preserve her Vietnamese heritage while embracing her new home, Juliane ThuSuong took it upon herself to learn written Vietnamese. With only Từ Điển Anh-Việt by Nguyễn Văn Khôn as her guide, she painstakingly taught herself to read and write in her mother tongue - an inspiring testament to her dedication and perseverance. Now a proud mother to a beautiful daughter, Juliane ThuSuong has devoted her life to uplifting and empowering Vietnamese women in the United States. As the visionary founder of the MVNUSA organization, she has created a platform that celebrates the beauty, strength, and rich cultural heritage of Vietnamese women. Through this initiative, she continues to inspire countless individuals to embrace their identity, strive for self-improvement, and uplift other women. She strongly believes that when you uplift women, you uplift humanity.

Kimmy Huynh graduated with a Bachelor of Science from UC Davis and currently works at a biopharmaceutical startup. After serving as Miss Vietnam USA 2014, she has served in various MVNUSA roles: Contestants correspondent, Pageant coach, Event lead, and as of 2022, an active member of the Board of Directors. Through MVNUSA, Kimmy wishes to empower women to be their most authentic and unapologetic version of themselves on and off stage.

Ha V. Nguyen (Hà Vi), Mrs. Vietnam USA 2019, is a passionate advocate for cultural preservation, women’s empowerment, and community service. As Public Relations Director for Miss and Mrs. Vietnam USA, she leverages her expertise in media, event hosting, and public outreach to celebrate the strength and beauty of Vietnamese women. Beyond her career in healthcare technology project management, Ha dedicates her time to disaster relief efforts in Vietnam, supporting underserved communities, and mentoring young minds. She is deeply committed to bridging generations and cultures, often using Vietnamese cuisine as a way to connect people and share her heritage. Whether mentoring, organizing cultural events, or hosting community initiatives, Ha continues to inspire others to embrace their roots, empower themselves, and give back. Her dedication makes a lasting impact within the Vietnamese-American community and beyond.
